The mayor who surrendered his city – Gen Alexander Grigorievich, was born on June 16, 1974 in the village Pigarovka, Sumy region. Later, Alexander and his family moved to the town of Ceredina Buda, where he spent most of his life. He went to school No. 1 in the city.
After graduating from high school, Alexander Gen enrolled in the Sumy National Agrarian University. By the way, before that, Gene worked at the service station of the agricultural enterprise “Rayagrotekhservis. After graduating from university in 1997, Alexander is called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After his demobilization, Alexander Gen got a job at the Desnyansko-Starogutsky National Nature Park.
However, he did not stay in the protected forests for long, and in 2001 he got a job at the State Labor Department of the Sumy region. After working there for some time, he returned to his native Seredina-Budu as an employee in the labor department of the Seredina-Budu District State Administration.
The leadership of the region appreciated Alexander Gen’s abilities and appointed him to the position of first deputy head of Seredino-Budskiy. But, Gen is even luckier – after working as a deputy for a while, the residents of Ceredina Buda elect him as head of the city. As it turned out, very in vain.
With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the entry of Russian occupation forces into Ceredina Buda, Alexander Gen betrays Ukraine and goes over to the side of the enemy. Gene surrendered his city to the enemy, and in doing so threatened those who would oppose the invaders with a firing squad. He also agitated local residents to cooperate with the occupiers in every way possible.
However, you have to pay for everything. “Salesman” Mayor Alexander Gen was arrested on April 29, 2022, on suspicion of treason. And very soon he will answer for his crimes to the fullest extent of the law.
