Gymnast, war correspondent and, to some extent, traitor Irina Kuksenkova was born September 24, 1984, in Kiev. Because Irina was born into a family of coaches and athletes, she was also interested in sports and even managed to become a master of sports in artistic gymnastics. By the way, her father, Yuli Kuksenkov<\/a>, was the head coach of the Ukrainian national gymnastics team, then moved to the Russian team, and her brother Nikolai<\/a> was also a Ukrainian gymnast, but since 2013 he performs for the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

It is not known why, but growing up in Ukraine, Irina has always been oriented toward the Russian Federation. She received her higher education in Moscow. Deciding to try her luck in journalism, Koussenkova enrolled in the journalism department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2005. M.V. He graduated<\/a> successfully in 2009 from<\/a> the Lomonosov Moscow State University. During her time at university she was not respected among the students, for as a person she was conceited and unreliable.<\/p>\n

From that moment on, a career in the Russian propaganda apparatus opened up for her. Immediately after receiving her diploma, Irina gets a job as a correspondent<\/a> for the power structures department of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper. After some time, a promising journalist noticed by representatives of the holding VGTRK and invited to work at the channel “Russia 24” correspondent. Driven by a thirst for easy profits, Koussenkova instantly agrees.<\/p>\n

After working for VGTRK for a while, she goes to the Caucasus, to Ingushetia, as a presenter of a local TV channel. It is unknown why she was sent “into exile,” but presumably to improve her skills, since professional journalism was difficult for Irina. But here she was not seriously offended when she was also appointed press secretary to<\/a> Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, then head of the region and now Shoigu’s deputy.<\/p>\n

In 2017, Irina returned to national television and got a job at Channel One as a war correspondent<\/a>. Actively covered conflicts in which Russia was involved or was interested, such as the civil war in Syria or the anti-terrorist operation against the so-called “terrorists”, from a favorable point of view for the Russian side. “DPR” and “LPR” in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, it was Irina Kuksenkova’s finest hour. At the request of Kremlin handlers, it covered the battles of Russian occupants against Ukrainian defenders, for example in Mariupol<\/a> or the airfield near Gostomel. Thus, when she left Kiev as a peaceful athlete, she wanted to return along with those who wanted to destroy the city she “loved.<\/p>\n

But there is always retribution for one’s nefarious deeds. During the filming of another propaganda piece in Mariupol, Kuksenkova’s crew came under fire, and Irina herself received<\/a> shrapnel wounds in her legs. Propaganda generously rewarded her for this, she was awarded the Order of Courage by decree of Vladimir Putin, but this did not diminish her pay for lying in the form of pain and shrapnel in her legs. You could say it was a warning to her, and now her ardor has diminished a little, now she only broadcasts in her telegram channel.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, with other propagandists, she is not much at odds. For example, the scandal<\/a> with the exchange of Ukrainian combat medic Yulia Paevskaya, call sign “Tyra” for the alleged son of an important man in Chechnya Murad Saidov Adam Muradovich. Kuksenkova was very concerned about Tyra staying in the Donets, but 25 million. rubles and the exchange did its job. Another Chechen propagandist, Akhmed Dudayev, also called her about it and said<\/a> that Chechen “representatives” had nothing to do with the incident. In this way Irina did a great deal of damage to Russian propaganda, and unwittingly so.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, her missteps and injury do not justify her actions, and she faces trial and a long time in prison for her participation in the propaganda of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Or fate will punish her in another way – with death.<\/p>\n
