A number of <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%95%D0%B2%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B9%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D1%81%D0%BE%D1%8E%D0%B7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">European Union<\/a> countries, including Canada, put Alexander on the list of executives and officials against whom financial sanctions were imposed. At the same time, Yakimenko was accused of financing terrorism and providing material assistance to terrorist formations, as well as of illegally declaring an anti-terrorist operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council from <b>26.02.2021<\/b> Alexander was deprived of the rank of major-general and the state award &#8211; . <b><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%9E%D1%80%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BD_%D0%91%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B0_%D0%A5%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%BE_(%D0%A3%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree<\/a><br \/>\n<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While in the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Grigorievich gave interviews to the Russian media, for which he was later placed on the international wanted list on suspicion of calling for a change in the constitutional order and seizure of state power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He now heads the FSS in Kherson.
