Defender of the rights of Russians in Latvia, adviser to the former ringleader of the so-called “DNR” Alexander Zakharchenko and propagandist in one person Alexander Kazakov was born<\/a> in Riga on December 6, 1965. Kazakov studied at ordinary school No. 21 in Riga, and, according to the latter, also studied at the Musical College named after A.A. Kant Baltic. \u042f. Medynya. Some time after graduating from high school and working in a factory, Alexander Kazakov enrolled at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov to the Faculty of Philosophy. During his studies, Kazakov joined the dissident movement, cooperated<\/a> with the unofficial publishing houses Glasnost and Vybor, and distributed samizdat. Later, Alexander fell under the radar of the KGB, which caused him to quit his studies at Moscow State University, stop<\/a> his dissident activities, and move back to Riga.<\/p>\n

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Alexander Kazakov stayed in Latvia and organized<\/a> Christian courses where, in addition to Kazakov, Orthodox priests served as lecturers. Kazakov also worked for a time on Latvian television and published<\/a> his own newspaper, Baltic Time. Later he participated in the creation of the United Congress of the Russian Community of Latvia. While living in Latvia, Kazakov obtained Russian citizenship. After some time of congress activity, Latvia declared<\/a> Alexander a persona non grata and deported him to the territory of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

In Russia Alexander Kazakov worked for some time in the information agency “Regnum” and from 2004 to 2005 was an adviser<\/a> to then Deputy Dmitry Rogozin on compatriot issues and youth policy. In 2007, Kazakov founded<\/a> the Center for Liberal-Conservative Policy named after V. V. Putin. \u041f. Stolypin and P. Struve, who was engaged in political science.<\/p>\n

With the beginning of Russia’s aggressive policy against Ukraine in 2014, Alexander Kazakov became a member of the illegal armed group and an adviser<\/a> to the deceased leader of the so-called “so called”. “DPR” Alexander Zakharchenko. In the course of his activities in the so-called In the “DNR,” Kazakov did not do much, but he met another propagandist and militant Yevgeny (Zakhar) Prilepin, who became his best friend. They can often be seen together<\/a>, and Prilepin even signed<\/a> his book to him. Together with Prilepin, Kazakov begins a political career in the Russian Federation – they create<\/a> the political party “For Truth. Later, Za Pravda disbanded and moved to the Just Russia party. Kazakov switched<\/a> to the SR and from the same party Kazakov goes to the elections to the State Duma, but the deputy of the Duma Alexander never became a member. Alexander is also a writer, writing<\/a> propaganda books.<\/p>\n

Given Kazakov’s past, it is not surprising that he supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. On his telegram channel<\/a> and Rutube<\/a> he is engaged in inciting enmity between the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, speaks out against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and discusses the course of the so-called “sovereignty of Ukraine. Russia’s “special operations” against Ukraine. The circle of Kazakov’s history has closed and he has stooped to the level of a low-brow Russian propagandist. But, he should take care of the future, for for his deeds awaits an imminent and cruel punishment.<\/p>\n<\/div>
