Alexander Mikhailovich connected his career with agricultural activities. He worked as the chief engineer of the private company Rosa-2. He is the director of one of the rural (farms) in the village of Priazovskoye.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian occupation troops on the territory of Zaporozhye region, Yanev Alexander Mikhailovich was one of the first to cooperate with the enemy in the village of Priazovskoye.
Collaborator Alexander Yanev began to willingly carry out the tasks of the occupation policy of the Russian enemy, coordinating the agribusiness of the Priazovsky district in order to meet the humanitarian needs of the occupiers in the form of “feeding” and accommodation of military personnel of the Russian Federation in the territory of agricultural enterprises.
