Biography:
Artemy Lebedev was born February 13, 1975 in Moscow, in the family of the writer Tatyana Tolstoy and philologist Andrei Lebedev, the son of Colonel-General V. Ya. Lebedeva.
He did not attend kindergarten or nursery school. He studied at schools No. 274 and 583 in Moscow, but in 1989 he and his parents moved to the American city of Baltimore, where Tatiana Tolstaya taught Russian literature. There he studied for a year at Parkville High School and then returned to the USSR, leaving his parents behind. He graduated from the humanities class of Moscow School No. 57.
From the age of 16, Lebedev lived alone. After high school, he enrolled in the Department of Journalism at Moscow State University. М. V. Lomonosov. I chose the Faculty of Journalism because it had a low passing score, but I did not go to the lectures and was expelled from the second year.

Also on his social media pages, he criticized the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine and supported the Russian occupation of Crimea.
For example:
“Every time Ukrainians report that they are closer to Europe than Russians, I open a folder with a hundred examples that prove that no Ukrainians exist (language does not count). One such example is a blank metal brown or gray door in nice pre-revolutionary entryways. As soon as we have a glass door, we will speak for Europe.
“In Russia it’s simple – the regions within the country are called oblasts, and the regions at the edges are called krais (and one region is directly called that – Ukraine).”
“When suddenly [the Russian] government manages to do something flawlessly (the Olympics, cleaning up Crimea), I see no reason not to give credit – these are perfect management operations.”
Terrorist Activities:
At the end of April 2016, he visited the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions controlled by terrorists and military forces of the Russian Federation without proper permission of the State Border Service of Ukraine, as a result of which Artemy Lebedev was included in the database of persons suspected of committing crimes against public security.
Such activities can be regarded as an attempt on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state of Ukraine, a conscious violation of the state border of Ukraine in order to enter Crimea and Donbass, which were seized by Russian occupants, cooperation with pro-Russian terrorist organizations, and similar actions.
Having considered all the above facts, we can conclude that this is another Russian propagandist who is an accomplice to the crimes of the Russian authorities against the state of Ukraine by taking part in the propaganda events of the Russian Federation against the state of Ukraine and participating in the attempts to legalize the occupation of Crimea by the Russian invaders.
