State prisoner Zagafova Elena Nikolaevna was born on March 23, 1976 in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region. She received her secondary education at Mariupol Secondary School No. 38. Then she graduated from Mariupol State University. She studied at the Faculty of Philology.

Zagafova Elena is a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature. The traitor also has the title of “teacher-methodologist”, a specialist of the highest category.

Before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation in February 2022, Elena worked at School No. 64 in Mariupol as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature.

After the “liberators” came to the city of Mariupol, Zagafova voluntarily took the side of the occupation authorities and betrayed her native language. She began teaching Russian language and literature. The traitor continues to support Russian educational standards and promotes anti-Ukrainian sentiments.
