Evgeny Voronov: biography
Yevgeny Olegovich Voronov is an accomplice of the Russian occupiers. Born on November 12, 1965 in Krasnoyarsk. In 1983 he graduated from school No. 80, after which he served in the USSR army from 1984 to 1986 in military unit No. 066982. After service he moved to Ukraine, where he started working at the plant “Preobrazovatel” in Zaporozhye in 1987. In 1988 he got a job at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in Energodar, where he worked as an electrician until 2001. From 1994 to 1996 he studied at Zaporozhye Electrotechnical College, specializing in “Installation and operation of electrical equipment of enterprises and civil buildings”. After his dismissal from ZNPP he was engaged in private repair, working as an electrician and plumber. In 2014, after the annexation of Crimea and the start of the war in Donbass, Voronov temporarily left Ukraine, returning to Krasnoyarsk, leaving his mother in Energodar.
Anti-Ukrainian activities:
During the years of his life in Ukraine, Yevhen Voronov obtained Ukrainian citizenship, but this did not prevent him from betraying the country. Being an adherent of the “Russian world“, he actively spreads pro-Russian propaganda, supports the occupation regime and justifies aggression against Ukraine. He actively promoted the idea of annexation of Zaporizhzhya region to russia, supported separatist sentiments in eastern Ukraine. In 2023 Voronov returned to occupied Energodar, where he actively assists the occupation authorities. His actions are aimed at strengthening the power of the invaders in Zaporizhzhya region, he spreads pro-Russian narratives and contributes to the legitimization of the occupation regime. Yevhen Voronov’s behavior deliberately supports Russian aggression, betraying the interests of Ukraine. He must be held justly accountable for his actions. Retribution for his betrayal is inevitable.
