Biography:
Galina Raiko was born September 21, 1977 in the city of Golaya Prystan, Kherson region. She studied at school No. 1 in Kherson from 1984 to 1990. In 2000 she graduated from Kherson National Technical University with a degree in business economics. In 2019 she received another degree from the same university in computer science. Raiko has a scientific rank of “candidate of technical sciences,” the author of a number of scientific publications. She was head of the Department of Information Technology at KNTU.
Galina Raiko: Collaborationism
After the occupation of Kherson, Galina Raiko agreed to cooperate with the Rascists. Received the position of “rector of Kherson Technical University. For this episode of her “working life” Raiko received a suspicion from the SBU for collaborationism under Article 111-2 of the CCU. She faces 10 to 12 years in prison.
It is likely that a more severe punishment awaits her. The fact is that it was Raiko who organized the scheme to take Kherson students to the Crimea under false powers of attorney, allegedly “for recuperation. After the claimed two weeks of “vacation” on the Black Sea coast, no one returned them home. For several months, they tried to “turn Ukrainian schoolchildren and students into Russians” in sanatoriums under the control of the Ravians. Such actions, a forced change of ethnicity, fall under the concept of genocide. Galina Raiko’s involvement in this crime has already been recorded.
