Thanks to the lost documents of the Rashists, the “evocation.info” team has established the identity of Colonel Gennadiy Gostev – commander of the tactical direction (TD) “Suja”. It was there that the Ukrainian defenders managed to break through the enemy’s defenses and advance deep into the Kursk region, taking control of the border town of Suja. Colonel Gostev, who has so far remained in the shadows, played an important role in the AFU’s success.

Gostev Gennady Viktorovich (05.12.1972). Born in the village of Verkhnyaya Khava, Voronezh region.
In 2008, he became “famous” for taking part in the rf invasion of Georgia. Then he was scandalously discharged from the army for alleged cowardice. For many years nothing was known about Gostev until a document confirming his participation in the Russian-Ukrainian war came into our possession.

The Suja tactical direction includes motorized rifle units of the 6th and 20th armies of the Russian Armed Forces. For example, under Gostev’s command is a battalion from the 488th motorized rifle regiment, whose soldiers were massively captured during the AFU breakthrough. Among them were many conscripts, whose fate is entirely on Gostev’s conscience.
