Grigory Prokhvatilov: biography
Grigory Vladimirovich Prokhvatilov is a traitor and collaborator who voluntarily supported the Russian occupation power. He was born on March 21, 1990 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. In 2012 he graduated from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (Moscow) with a degree in law. After graduation, he moved to Sevastopol, where he worked as a lawyer in “Contractor specialized repair and construction management” LLC. Before the occupation of Crimea, he lived and worked on the territory of Ukraine.
Anti-Ukrainian activities:
After the beginning of the occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in 2014, he stayed in Sevastopol and voluntarily joined the service of the occupation authorities. He took part in the 2016 pseudo-elections from the United Russia party and was “elected” as a so-called deputy of the Leninsky municipal district of Sevastopol. Since June 10, 2020, he worked as the head of the occupation project at the Department of Economic Development of Sevastopol. Later he became a regional coordinator of the federal project “Digital Russia”.
Since March 22, 2024, he has been appointed “Minister of Digital Development” in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region. In this position, he is engaged in the digital integration of the captured Ukrainian territories into the Russian infrastructure. He oversees projects to control digital services, promotes Russian passportization, and implements Russian management and communication standards.
Actively participates in spreading propaganda discrediting Ukraine. He supports the “Russian world”, is engaged in undermining Ukrainian sovereignty, and promotes the occupation administration. His actions fall under the articles on collaboration and treason.
