Igor Chagaev

Igor Olegovich Chagaev, Russian politician and Kremlin agent. He holds the post of first deputy governor of the temporarily occupied Kherson region. His rapid career growth is accompanied by scandals and accusations of corruption. But this has not prevented him from becoming an agent of Kremlin policy in the occupied territories. Chagaev was born on June 19, 1987 in the town of Labinsk, Krasnodar region. In 2009, he graduated from Kuban State University with a degree in State and Municipal Management. Already at the age of 22 he was elected as a deputy of the Council of Labinsk Urban Settlement. He headed the committee on social policy and interaction with public organizations.

Since 2012, Chagaev has become one of the most influential figures in the political system of Krasnodar Krai. He was appointed chairman of the committee of the regional council of young deputies. In 2016, he became deputy head of the investment department of the Labinsky district administration, and in 2018 he was elected head of the district.

In 2019, his career continued its rapid development – Chagaev took the post of Director of the Department of Internal Policy of the Krasnodar Territory. A year later, he became vice-governor. However, his work was overshadowed by a corruption scandal. Chagaev’s deputy Inna Haustova was accused of extorting bribes from municipal officials, for which she was sentenced to 2 years. Chagaev’s involvement in corrupt practices could not be proven, but he was quickly sent “into exile” to Kherson Oblast.

Anti-Ukrainian activities:

In June 2023, Chagaev was appointed first deputy head of the occupied Kherson region. This appointment was a “forced measure” designed to protect Chagaev from the consequences of the scandal in Krasnodar Krai. In his new position, he is implementing Kremlin policy. Actively supporting the occupation regime and the destruction of Ukrainian statehood.

Igor Chagaev is one of those who deliberately fulfill the Kremlin’s plans, contributing to the destruction of Ukraine’s sovereignty. His actions aimed at destroying Ukrainian statehood and integrating the temporarily occupied territories into russia will not go without consequences. Every step made by Chagaev in support of the occupiers is recorded.

Justice is inevitable. Those who build their careers on war and suffering will sooner or later receive the punishment they deserve. Igor Chagaev will be held accountable for his crimes before the Ukrainian people. It’s only a matter of time.
