The official who became a traitor – Igor Gennadyevich Mashchenko, was born on March 6, 1968 in the city of Tokmak, Zaporozhye region. Ihor also grew up in Tokmak, where he graduated from high school, and in 1987 he enrolled at the Zaporozhye National University, where he studied foreign philology. In addition to his studies, Mashchenko had time to fight as a member of the limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan.
After graduating from university, Igor Mashchenko got a job in Tokmak City Council. By the way, becoming an official, Mashchenko actively learned all the basics of his profession, went to various events, adopted the experience of other government agencies. These efforts were not in vain – the leadership was able to discern talent in Igor and appointed him to the post of Head of Social Protection and Health of Tokmak City Council. Igor lived a good life, vacationed in Turkey and became a respected man in Tokmak.
Unfortunately, everything changed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. When Russian occupation forces entered Tokmak, Igor Mashchenko betrayed Ukraine and defected to the side of the invaders. The latter decided to keep Mashenka in his “position,” but under an enemy flag. He is now the “head of the social welfare department” of the so-called “Tokmak Occupation Administration. It was established that in his “position” Mashchenko passed on to the enemy data on the families of AFU servicemen living in Tokmak and agitated local residents to cooperate with the “occupation authorities”. Igor Mashchenko is directly involved in the organization of the so-called A “referendum” arranged by the invaders to legalize the illegal annexation of Zaporizhzhia region to the Russian Federation.
For betraying Ukraine and “working” for the enemy, Igor Mashchenko faces a just punishment, which will inevitably catch up with him.
