Igor Pavlov: biography
Pavlov Igor Viktorovich is a traitor and collaborator who deliberately supported the Russian occupation of Zaporizhzhya region. He was born on October 15, 1968 in Melitopol.
Prior to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he was engaged in entrepreneurial activities, registered as a private entrepreneur since July 23, 2001. He is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, which he used to strengthen his authority in the veteran community. Even before 2022, he openly displayed anti-Ukrainian views, called Russians “brotherly people” and criticized the Ukrainian authorities.
After the capture of Melitopol, Pavlov voluntarily cooperated with the invaders and soon received a position in the illegal structures of the occupation administration.
Anti-Ukrainian activities:
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and the establishment of control over a part of Zaporizhzhya region, Pavlov voluntarily began to serve the enemy. Since 2022, he has been a leading specialist of the department for coordination of territorial public self-governance activities of the internal policy department within the occupation “civil-military administration” of Melitopol.
On June 29, 2023, he headed the fake organization “Melitopol Council of Veterans” created by the occupants for propaganda work and involvement of veterans in pro-Russian activities. This structure is used to hold events with Soviet and Russian symbols, demonstrate “support of the population” and strengthen the positions of the occupation authorities.
In September 2023, he took part in pseudo-elections organized by Russia and was “elected” as a deputy of the so-called “Melitopol city council” from the “United Russia” party. By doing so, Pavlov formalized his participation in the system of illegal authorities.
In addition, he is a representative of the party project “historical memory” from “united Russia” in Zaporizhzhya region. In this role, he promotes the ideology of the “Russian world”, organizes events for the memorable dates of the USSR and Russia, and participates in discrediting Ukraine.
All of his actions are aimed at legitimizing the occupation regime, supporting the invaders and promoting pro-Russian narratives. Pavlov uses his position and connections for personal enrichment, status enhancement and serving the interests of the enemy.
His activities fall under the grounds of high treason, collaborationism and participation in illegal authorities.
Igor Viktorovich Pavlov will be held accountable for betraying Ukraine. His participation in the destruction of Ukrainian sovereignty, complicity in the occupation and promotion of the ideology of the enemy will not go unpunished. It’s only a matter of time.
