The policeman who became a traitor – Ivan Petrovich Makarets, was born on February 9, 1980 in the village of Krasnoselka, Zhitomir region. While at school, Ivan decided for himself that he wanted to become a policeman and protect law and order on the streets.
After graduating from school, Ivan Makarets joins the police force. He served in the elite bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine – a unit of special-purpose police “Berkut”, and in the Kyiv Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Unfortunately, his career was tragically cut short – in 2014 he was allegedly involved in the shooting of protesters on Euromaidan in central Kiev, for which he could have been criminally prosecuted. And in order to avoid justice, Makarets fled to Crimea, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, and committed high treason by obtaining a Russian passport. Now, even after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Ivan works for the invaders and his taxes are used to fund the killing of his countrymen.
Ivan Makarts faces an inevitable and just punishment for his despicable treason and crimes, from which he can no longer escape.
