Burlyaev Nikolai: biography
Nikolai Burlyaev was born August 3, 1946 in Moscow. Nikolai made his acting debut in the early 1960s, when he starred in Andrei Konchalovsky’s The Boy and the Dove.
Then Andrei Tarkovsky on the recommendation of Konchalovsky took the young actor in a picture of “Ivan’s Childhood,” where Burlyaev played the role of an adolescent who was deprived of childhood by war. Remembering those shoots, the actor said that he was playing not so much himself as “Tarkovsky himself” – his movements, intonations, facial expressions. At the Venice Film Festival in 1962 both films with Burlyaeva received prizes – “Golden Lion of St. Mark” and “Bronze Lion of St. Mark.

On 15.02.2022 he voted for the occupation of part of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine (the so-called “transfer to President Vladimir Putin of an appeal to recognize the independence of the DNR and LNR”).
22.02.2022 voted for the fake “independence” of the terrorist organizations “l/dnr” created by the aggressor country.
On March 11, 2014, he signed an appeal of cultural figures of the Russian Federation in support of the policy of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine and Crimea.
In March 2022 he signed an appeal in support of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine (2022).
He co-authored a bill banning the promotion of the so-called “Childfree” lifestyle and the popularization of “non-traditional sexual relationships.
He advocates the introduction of censorship in the arts: “We should not be afraid of the word ‘censorship. Censorship means “strict judgment, exacting criticism. With the above examples and statements of Nikolay, we can safely say that this individual is equal to the occupants, as by his actions he is trying to undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of an independent state such as Ukraine.
