Serafim Ivanov: biography
Serafim Vikentyevich Ivanov is a Russian occupier and agent engaged in militarization and propaganda treatment of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
Born on May 19, 1996 in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture in 2022 with a degree in specialization, master’s degree.
Anti-Ukrainian activities:
Since the beginning of rf’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ivanov has been actively involved in the informational, cultural and political takeover of southern Ukraine. In 2022, he organized humanitarian missions in support of the so-called Novorossiya, coordinated the delivery of “aid” to the occupied territories of Donbass, and was later transferred to Kherson.
In the summer of 2022, Ivanov arrived in occupied Kherson, where he took part in the launch of a propaganda TV channel and was later appointed head of the regional branch of the Unarmia, the Kremlin’s project to militarize and ideologically subjugate Ukrainian children.
At the same time, he headed the Kherson branch of the Russian Society of ‘Knowledge’, an organization used for propaganda education and substitution of Ukrainian identity. With his participation, a network of events for “patriotic education” of youth, planting the ideology of “Russian peace” and support of the Kremlin’s colonial policy was deployed.
His actions qualify as a gross violation of international humanitarian law. Ivanov Serafim Vikentyevich will inevitably be held accountable for his participation in the militarization of minors, forced assimilation and service in the interests of the aggressor state. War crimes have no statute of limitations, and every accomplice of Russian aggression will be held accountable.
