Biography Sergei Maximov

Sergei Viktorovich Maximov was born on October 22, 1975 in Ukraine, the city of Uzhgorod.Maksimov’s father is a military man, so the family often changed the place of deployment. In his teenage years Maximov firmly decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and decided to become a cadre serviceman. In 1996 he graduated from Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School.

Military career:

After graduating from the military school, Maximov’s career went upward.
He served in the air-desert troops unit.
He rose from company commander to brigade and regiment commander.
In 2013, he served as commander of the 247th Airborne Assault Caucasus Cossack (Guards).
Then in 2016 he became commanderof the 83rd Independent Guards Airborne Assault Brigade in Ussuriysk.

Personnel changes caught Maksimov in 2021 as well and this time he accepted the position commander of the 138th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade, in /h 02511 – 138th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western All-Russian Army (11 SB 138th OMSBR 6A).
