Traitor to the Motherland and Gauleiter Kirill Stremousov was born on December 26, 1976 in the village of Golmovsky in the Donetsk region of the USSR. He graduated from the West Ukrainian National University and afterwards was the owner of a fish fodder company, later becoming head of the fish inspectorate and in 2007 was appointed head of the Kiev Fishery Committee, but he soon resigned and went to Kherson.
After arriving in the city, he founded the news agency “Tavria News,” conducted seminars on alternative medicine, and became a member of a new religious movement of an occult conspiracy nature, “The Concept of Public Safety. He was one of the organizers of the so-called “Russian joggers” with flags of Russian ultra-right organizations.
He was associated with former deputy Sergei Kirichenko, who supported the “right-wing nationalist-autonomists,” as well as with Viktor Medvedchuk’s organization Ukrainian Choice. He founded the political organization “For the President,” supporting the fugitive President Yanukovich. He was the organizer of the pro-Russian “anti-Madan” rally on March 1, 2014.
In 2016, co-founder of the Ukrainian Center for Environmental Self-Defense.
In the Ukrainian press he was known for his fights. Thus, in February 2017, as a result of a fight in the City Council, he attacked a police officer. A year later, he fired an air gun, wounding a resident of Kherson. On January 18, 2019, became involved in an incident of shooting and spraying tear gas at the Novy Den newspaper press club.
From 2018 to 2019 – Chairman of the Kherson branch of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, which at the time was headed by Ilya Kiva. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Derzhava party.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he began promoting anti-vaccine beliefs and conspiracy theories. In his videos, he accused the authorities of spreading COVID-19, spoke about “U.S. biolaboratories in Ukraine,” and urged residents not to wear masks or adhere to restrictions.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and subsequent occupation of the Kherson region, as a corrupt pro-Russian politician, he supported the actions of the occupiers and in early March formed the so-called “Committee for Salvation for Peace and Order,” which suppressed protests, introduced the Russian ruble into the region, and developed symbols for the new self-proclaimed administration.
On April 26, 2022, he was appointed so-called “deputy chairman of the Kherson Military-Civil Administration.
It was Stremousov who initiated the blocking of Google, YouTube, and Viber on the territory of the Kherson region, fearing that Russian propaganda would once again screw up.
