In the urban village of Nikolskoye, Vera Alexandrovna was engaged in business and political activities. In 2020, she was a candidate in the local elections in Ukraine for the Nikolsk Village Council on behalf of the political party “opzzh”.

With the beginning of thefull-scaleinvasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Vera Lisovaya made a decision for herself to cooperate with the enemy and betray her country. Also during the pseudo-referendum on the annexation of the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine to the Russian Federation, the collaborator Lisovaya acted as one of the coordinators of the “electoral process” and provided its organizational direction. She was the secretary of the “electoral commission” for counting votes.
