Actor in the service of Putin’s regime – Babichev Vilen Vilenovich, born May 11, 1971 in Poltava, Ukraine. Since Babichev’s parents were circus performers, Wilen began performing in the arena at the age of nine.
After finishing school in 1989, Vilen was called up for military service in the Soviet Army. He served in the Marines, specifically in the 336th Separate Brigade of the Baltic Fleet. After demobilizing in 1991, Babichev continues to participate in circus performances and enters the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts to study acting. Vilen decided not to limit himself to the theater, and in 2009 debuted in film, where he played both first and minor roles. Also, Babichev played the role of a stuntman and mastered many skills for this role, such as wielding a whip and shooting firearms. After 2014, in addition to his usual paintings, Vilen began starring in propaganda films, such as Militia.
With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Kremlin brainiacs offered Babichev to star in the propaganda film “Polite People.” And Vilen agreed, playing the role of a “negative” character, a “Ukrainian nationalist. The main purpose of the picture is to discredit the defenders of Ukraine and to propagandize the war that was unleashed by the Russian Federation. Thus, from a professional actor Vilen became a propagandist in the service of the Kremlin.
Vilen Babich will face harsh and inevitable punishment for working for Putin’s propaganda machine.
