Yulia Bekhteeva: biography
Yulia Sergeevna Bekhteeva is a traitor and collaborator who has defected to the side of the Russian occupiers in Zaporizhzhya region. She uses her position as school director to propagandize the “Russian world” and support the aggressive policy of the occupiers.
She was born on September 22, 1984 in Dneprovka village of Kamensko-Dneprovsky district of Zaporizhzhya region. In 2007, she graduated from Zaporizhzhya Law Institute of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, where she received a law degree.
Anti-Ukrainian activities:
After the occupation of Energodar by Russian invaders, Yulia Bekhteeva voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupiers and took the position of the director of the 4th school in Energodar, while performing anti-Ukrainian tasks.
The occupants turned school No. 4 into a propaganda site by introducing so-called “atomic classes”. This project was supervised by the Russian state corporation Rosatom, which is actively involved in the seizure and operation of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Teachers from the school were sent to Russia, where they were trained in propaganda and “patriotic education” in the spirit of the “Russian world.” The school was filled with Russian textbooks imposing Kremlin narratives and justifying aggression against Ukraine.
Yulia Bekhteeva actively used the school and its students to:
- agitation during “referendums” and “elections” organized by the occupants;
- creating and distributing leaflets in support of the Russian military, which Bekhteeva personally took to the occupants’ positions around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant;
- forcing parents to participate in occupation activities under threats of dismissal and reprisals.
Rosatom representatives personally conducted propaganda activities at the school, such as “conversations about important things”. These meetings were aimed at justifying Russian aggression and agitating for the so-called “special military operation”. Such events serve not only as propaganda, but also as a tool for controlling the population in the occupied territories.
In September 2024, investigators of the SBU in Zaporizhzhya region declared Yulia Bekhteyeva a suspect under part 3 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for “introducing the standards of the aggressor state in educational institutions”. Her actions are a betrayal of Ukraine aimed at brainwashing the younger generation and supporting the invaders.
Bekhteeva plays an active role in legitimizing the occupation power through educational processes, which causes irreparable damage to Ukraine’s national security.
The treachery of Yulia Bekhteyeva will not go unpunished. She, like other accomplices of the Russian occupation, will bear just responsibility for her crimes against Ukraine.
