The main dancing moron of Russian propaganda and concurrently a deputy of the Russian State Duma, Alexei Zhuravlev , was born on June 30, 1962, in Voronezh. After graduating from school he entered the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute, majoring in physics of metals. Back then, Zhuravlyov realized that life was easier for those who were closer to those in power and actively worked in the Voronezh Regional Committee of VLKSM, he was head of the economic department. It is worth mentioning that Alexey was also assigned to work at the Chemavtomatika Design Bureau by the decision of the district committee of the Komsomol.
Having worked for some time in the Design Bureau of Chimavtomatika, Zhuravlev left the company after the collapse of the Soviet Union to go into politics. In 1995, Alexei becomes a specialist in the Information and Analytical Department of the Voronezh City Administration. A year later, Zhuravlev quit his job at the administration and became chairman of the inter-regional public organization Russian Community.
In the early 2000s, Alexei was appointed to the position of Governor’s Envoy to the Voronezh Regional Duma. Some time later Zhuravlev began to communicate with the “party of power,” in the period from 2003 to 2004 worked as head of the pre-election headquarters of the Voronezh branch of the party “United Russia”, at the same time supervising the work of the headquarters party “Rodina”, which then merged with several other parties in the party “Just Russia” (hereinafter – SR). He continued his political activities in the SR party as head of the department of regional party building. He also cooperated with the former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, and together with him took part in the creation of the Great Russia party, which was never officially registered.
A few years later, in 2011, Alexei Zhuravlev won a long-awaited seat in the Russian State Duma on the party list of the United Russia from the Voronezh region. In September 2012 Zhuravlev was elected chairman of the newly formed Rodina party, and a month later announced that the latter was leaving the SR party. Alexey was re-elected to the State Duma in 2016 and 2021, was an out-of-faction deputy until 2021; in the 8th convocation he joined the “LDPR” faction. In the Duma Zhuravlev became famous as the author of delirious and violating human rights initiatives, for example, he proposed to ban same-sex marriages and the promotion of homosexuality, he proposed to infringe the rights of men who have not served until the age of 27 in the army and label the products of companies that collaborated with the totalitarian regimes of Mussolini and Hitler. At the same time, Zhuravlev himself has never served in the army and rides a BMW motorcycle. He is also known for a fight in the Duma building with another deputy, Adam Delimkhanov, whose “golden” Stechkin fell out with him during the fight. Alexei is also an accomplice to war crime – he voted in support of the so-called “appeals to Russian President Putin about the need to recognize the so-called ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR.
The real triumph of Zhuravlev’s infamy was his participation in propaganda shows on Russian television. For example, on the show “60 Minutes” he said that in Denmark there is a brothel for zoophiles, where you can copulate with turtles. Unfortunately, Alexei distinguished himself by supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, with such brutal and cynical insults to Ukraine that some dissenting functionaries left his party, and Zhuravlev himself called for the genocide of Ukrainians, arguing that two million Ukrainian citizens should be “denazified.” Alexei also went to Donbass with the goal of participating in combat operations against Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation. It is good that he is actively publicizing his actions, which will make it easier to collect evidence for his tribunal.
Of all the propagandists, Alexei Zhuravlev is the most vile and unpleasant type, who deserves only soap and rope – What war criminals and propagandists get. And the more he revels in impunity, the faster and harsher his punishment will be.
