Alexander lived in Garmashovka until February 24, 2022. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory by the Russian invaders, Melezhyk betrayed Ukraine and voluntarily began to “cooperate” with the Russian invaders.
Anti-Ukrainian and collaborationist activities:
As soon as Russian occupation troops invaded the Luhansk region, Alexander sneakily betrayed his native country and voluntarily began to serve the invaders. The occupiers were happy to appoint the traitor Melezhik as “chief” of the so-called “Emergency sectors of the Markov district administration of the LNR.
By voluntarily agreeing to “cooperate” with the so-called The “occupation administration,” Meleżyk made himself an accomplice to the crimes against the civilian population committed by the collaborators and occupiers. Also, he actively supports the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and speaks out against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Alexander is not squeamish about supporting the “values” of the so-called of the “Russian world.”
