Official and traitor in one person – Anatoly Anatolyevich Busenkov, was born July 23, 1962 in Rubizhne, Lugansk region. While still in school, Anatoly proved to be a capable organizer and manager, and so in the future he decided to work in public service.
After a long period of work in state institutions, Anatoly Busenkov got lucky – in 2002 he was elected head of the Rubizhne City Council. However, Busenkov managed to prove himself elsewhere and after some time was elected head of the district state administration of Fastov district, Kyiv region. It is unknown what the ex-mayor of Rubizhne forgot in Fastov district, but the “powers that be” felt that Anatoly would be more needed there.
Having resigned as head of the Fastov district administration, Anatoliy Busenkov returns to Rubizhne as secretary of the Rubizhne city council. Busenkov also managed to run for the mayor’s chair for the third time, but was defeated in the election. It is noteworthy that during his work in Rubizhne, Anatoliy Busenkov was often a party to civil court proceedings and was brought to administrative responsibility for failure to comply with the legal requirements of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
Unfortunately, war breaks into Anatoly Busenkov’s life. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, and Russian occupation troops entered, Busenkov betrayed Ukraine and defected to the side of the invaders. Being a recognizable person in Rubizhne, he induced local residents to cooperate with the occupiers. By the way, for this the latter appointed Anatoly to the position of the so-called “advisor to the head of the occupation administration of Rubizhne on the resumption of vital activities.
Anatoly Busenkov is sure to be severely and justly punished for his defection.
