An SBU officer who became a traitor in the service of the enemy – Giba Andrey Anatolievich, was born on November 3, 1976 in Simferopol, Crimea. Giba would spend most of his life in the Crimea, from his school desk to his treason.

After graduating from high school, Andrei Giba enters a specialized university of the Security Service of Ukraine and learns the profession of an investigator. After receiving a higher education, Giba returns to Crimea and joins the SBU Department of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as an investigator. Andrei’s career at the SBU is going very well – starting as an ordinary investigator, by 2014 he reached the position of head of the investigative department.

Unfortunately, Giba’s brilliant career ends with his dastardly betrayal. When the Russian Federation began its illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014, Andrei broke the oath and defected to the side of the enemy. The Russian occupiers “generously” appreciated Giba’s deed by “demoting” him to the “position” of the so-called “deputy head of the investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for Sevastopol and Crimea,” but, assigned the rank of t.v. “Lieutenant Colonel of Justice. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, Andreya Giba continued to “work” for the occupiers.

However, Gibe needs to remember that for any action will have to answer. And the responsibility for Andrew for his treason would be “too” harsh.
