Rescuer and traitor in one person – Nechaev Artem Mikhailovich, was born January 11, 1996 in the city of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region. Artem spent his school years in another town, Svetlodarsk, where he studied at secondary school № 11.
After graduating in 2013 In the beginning of his high school studies, Artem Nechaev decided to become a firefighter, and enrolled at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine to learn the basics of fire safety. After graduating from university in 2019, Nechaev is going to serve in the 80th fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region. Soon after his appointment, his superiors appointed him head of the guardhouse and promoted him to the special rank of “Senior Lieutenant of Civil Protection.
Unfortunately, Artem became not only a rescuer, but also a traitor. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, and Russian occupation forces entered Svitlodarsk, Nechaev betrayed Ukraine and defected to the occupiers. The latter were delighted with the “addition” and took him on as an “employee” in the so-called “THE DNR MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. Now Artem “serves” for the Russian invaders.
For betraying Ukraine, Artem Nechaev faces a harsh penalty, which will inevitably catch up with him.
