Deserter in the “service” of the invaders – Dmitry Grigorievich Kazakevich, was born on May 15, 1981 in the city of Kherson, Kherson region. Kazakevich studied at Kherson City School No. 45. During his studies Dmitry decided to become a sailor, and after graduating from high school in 1999 he enrolled as a cadet in the The Naval Academy named after V.V. Lomonosov. Nakhimov The Ukrainian Navy to study the missile armament of surface ships.

Upon graduation from the academy in 2004 Dmitry Kazakevich enters the service in the 25th separate mobile coastal missile division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Dmitry quickly rose through the ranks and 10 years later his superiors appointed him deputy battalion commander for personnel work. In this position, Kazakevich met the beginning of the illegal occupation of the Crimean Peninsula by Russian troops. However, instead of resisting the invaders, Dmitri Kazakevich broke his oath, deserted, and went into “service” in the Russian army.
