Savior and traitor in one person – Dmitry Sergeevich Matushkin, aka Dmitry Donskoy, was born July 31, 1990 in the city of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region. As a child, Dmitry decided that in the future he wanted to work as a rescuer and save people’s lives. This decision determined his future profession.
After graduating from school, Dmitry Matushkin goes to work as a rescuer in the 80th Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region. There he was able to achieve some success – some time later the leadership appoints Matushkin to the position of squad leader. Dmitri was positively noted in the service, disciplinary penalties were not imposed on him. It’s too bad Dmitri turned out not to be the man his commanders had hoped for.
After the Russian Federation began its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the Russian occupation forces entered Svitlodarsk, Dmitry Matushkin betrayed Ukraine and defected to the enemy. The invaders assessed Dmitri’s “right” choice and identified him as an “employee” of the so-called “THE DNR MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. This is how Matushkin turned from a rescuer into a vile traitor in the service of the occupiers. It is established that in the “service” Dmitry fulfills all the instructions of the occupants and provided the latter with information about his fellow servicemen, who did not violate the oath and remained loyal to Ukraine.
Dmitry Matushkin for his “service” to the invaders faces imminent and just retribution, which will catch up with him very soon.
