Biography:
Elena G. Sokolenko, a traitor and collaborator of the Russian occupation troops, was born on July 31, 1968 in Severodonetsk , Luhansk Oblast.
Until February 24, 2022 Elena lived in Severodonetsk and worked there in the city administration. There she served as head of the administrative and economic department in the Severodonetsk city administration’s education department. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Luhansk Oblast by Russian occupants, Sokolenko betrayed her country and defected to the Russian occupiers.
Anti-Ukrainian and collaborationist activities:
With the arrival of Russian invaders in Severodonetsk, Elena Sokolenko, as an employee of the Severodonetsk city administration, betrayed Ukraine and defected to the enemy. In turn, the occupiers offered her the chance to become the “head of the education department” in the so-called “KGB. “Severodonetsk city administration of the LNR,” to which Elena gave her consent.
As an accomplice of the Russian invaders, Elena actively performed the “duties” assigned to her. In particular, she is responsible for the “transition” of school education to “Russian standards. Also, Sokolenko has to do with propaganda for war and the “Russian world” among schoolchildren and teenagers who stayed in the city. At the same time, Elena does not care that the invaders destroyed her hometown – because for her “money does not smell.
But Elena Sokolenko should not think that nothing will happen to her for her betrayal. Very soon she will have to answer in full to the Ukrainian people for her crimes.
