Traitor Igor Ivanovich Safronov was born on August 19, 1975 in the Russian Federation. Namely on the territory of the Voronezh region, Novousmanskiy district, Mozhayskoye village.
In 1998, he graduated from Priazovsky State Technical University. Qualification “Transport management specialist”. In 2013, he graduated from the Donetsk National University, where he received a master’s degree in business administration.
Igor Safronov worked his way up from the Head of Personnel Work and Adaptation of the Personnel Development Department of Mariupol City Council to the Head of the Housing Department in Mariupol City.
It would seem that the man is intelligent, literate, with two higher educations. But Igor Ivanovich Safronov’s brains and skills were only enough to become an accomplice to the crimes of the Russian authorities against Ukraine and its citizens.
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, Igor Safronov defected to the enemy and voluntarily cooperated with the occupants. As head of personnel, the traitor very quickly found common ground with the local occupation administration and already in April 2022 he was appointed by the occupation authorities as head of the department of personnel work and issues of awards of the Mariupol city administration.
The abettor of the Russian invaders and terrorists also very quickly began to “hunt his own kind” i.e. the same traitors and collaborators in occupied Mariupol.
Igor Safronov was in charge of recruiting for the occupant administration. He even called his former employees from the housing and utilities sector and offered to do mean collaborationist work: writing posts for social networks that would discredit the current government in Ukraine. The propagandist offered 100 hryvnias for every post he wrote.
The full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian invaders truly revealed the rotten gut of Mariupol official Igor Ivanovich Safronov. The traitor has yet to answer for his pro-Russian stance, which cost the lives of many Ukrainians. After all, punishment will be inevitable.
