After the full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine by Russian invaders on February 24, 2022, Igor Skorobogatko supported the policy of the occupation authorities and went over to the side of the enemy himself.

In order to save his private business, Igor Leonidovich agreed to cooperate with the occupiers, and began providing the invaders with lists of patriotic local residents of Melitopol.
