Rescuer and traitor in one person – Ivan Vladimirovich Boyko, was born November 22, 1991 in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region. Back at school, Boyko decided that he would not strive for anything, but would “go with the flow. After graduating from high school, in 2010 he was drafted into the army, and Ivan served in the 92nd MPA in Chuguyev.
After demobilization, Boyko decides to enlist as a lifeguard in the State Emergencies Service. Upon his return home, he gets a job as a lifeguard at the 11th Fire and Rescue Unit in the city of Berdyansk. He likes his job, and soon Ivan is promoted to senior firefighter-rescuer and the special rank of “civil defense sergeant. Also, Boyko’s family life gets better – he marries Valeria and they build their happiness together.
However, war breaks into Ivan Boyko’s quiet life. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, and the entry of occupation forces into Berdyansk, Ivan did not resist the invaders, but went over to their side, betraying Ukraine. For this, the Kremlin handlers generously rewarded him by promoting him to the position of the so-called “chief of the guard of the 11th fire and rescue unit of the occupation administration of the city of Berdyansk.
Ivan will surely answer to the Ukrainian people for his treason. And the punishment imposed on him will be fair and severe.
