Alcoholic and a warden turned traitor – Protasov Ivan Nikolaevich, born March 7, 1984 in the village of Tsentralnoye, Nikolaev region. Ivan had no ambitions in life, so after graduating from high school he took a job as an inspector in Snigurevskaya Correctional Colony No. 5 in order to have a minimum income.

Protasov’s work in the colony was very mediocre. There were times when he came to work intoxicated, for which he was disciplined. However, this way of life was quite satisfying for Ivan; a stable job and a bottle of beer were all that the “warden” needed to be happy.

Unfortunately, war comes into Ivan Protasov’s “stable” life. After the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 and the entry of Russian occupation forces into Snigurevka, Protasov did not resist the invaders, but went to their “service”. The invaders appreciated Ivan’s “choice” and appointed him to the position of the so-called “the head of Snigurevskaya Correctional Colony No. 5. It was established that in the colony Protasov participated in the torture of illegally kidnapped residents of Snigurevka and prisoners of war.

Ivan Protasov will be severely and justly punished for his treachery. After which he will never drink again.
