The traitor, cop and mayor who surrendered his city to the enemy – Goloblya Leonid Nikolaevich, was born March 19, 1966 in the village of Nechayannoye, Nikolaev region. While in school, Leonid decided that he wanted to protect law and order on the streets. In the future he will stay true to his choice and become a policeman.

After receiving a specialized education in one of the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Leonid Goloblya returns to his native Mykolaiv region for service. For some time he served in Nikolaev, heading the city’s Leninsky district police department. By the way, Leonid’s career was growing very rapidly – by the end of his service the leadership appointed him head of the Snigirevka police and awarded him the special rank of “Colonel of Militia. Shortly thereafter, Goloble is retired from IAB service to a well-deserved pension.

However, in retirement Leonid Goloblya does not sit idly by and decides to try his hand at politics. In 2017, he ran for mayor of Snigirevka and won the election. Golobli’s performance in office was distinguished by his negligent attitude towards his constituents – for example, the city administration constantly postponed repairing damaged facilities, and the mayor banned video recording of city council meetings.

Unfortunately, dereliction of duty is not Leonid’s worst crime. With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the entry of Russian occupation forces into Snigirevka, Leonid Goloblya begins to cooperate with the invaders and betrays Ukraine. It is interesting that he did not want to stay in the “post,” but helps the occupants by giving them all the information they are interested in about the inhabitants of the city.

For his betrayal and “work” for the Russian occupiers, Leonid Goloblya will bear a harsh but fair punishment, which will come very soon.
