Sergei Makarenko, a Donetsk war correspondent, was born on July 10, 1988, in the city of Donetsk. He received his higher education at Donetsk National University in the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Philology, which he graduated in 2010.
In 2014, since the arrival of the so-called “Russian peace” in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, Sergey Makarenko found his niche and became a war correspondent for the Kremlin’s “mouthpiece,” LifeNews, where he “poured” an enormous amount of untruthful information into the information space to the benefit of the Putin regime.
Of course, Sergei Makarenko is listed in the lists of journalists accredited by the terrorist organization “DNR” under numbers 1199, 1561, 1912, 2429, 2855, 3286, 3373, 4151, 4634, 4871, 5031, 5381, 5816.
Sergey Makarenko is a typical war criminal who openly propagandizes the war, justifies the war crimes of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, and creates fakes about the “war crimes” of the AFU.
An interesting fact: in addition to information warfare, Sergei Makarenko was directly involved in combat operations as part of the illegal armed groups of the terrorist organization “DNR”. In his post on his personal page on the social network “Vkontakte,” the undercorrespondent stated that he served in the artillery forces of the DNR.
For his deceitful journalism, the Kremlin puppet Sergei Makarenko was awarded a whole diploma “For conscientious work, high professionalism, contribution to the formation of a culture of honest and free journalism of the Donetsk People’s Republic and in connection with the celebration of Media and Printing Workers Day” by the order №59 dated 30.04.2015, already killed by the leader of the terrorist organization “DNR” Alexander Zakharchenko.
On June 21, 2019, he received Russian citizenship under the simplified procedure, which, of course, he agitated others to do as well.
Sergei Makarenko now works as a war correspondent for “Solovyov Live,” shooting content for the better-known Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. He runs his own Telegram channel called “Makarenko Z Donetsk” (@MakarenkoLive).
Since the beginning of Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine, Sergei Makarenko, for whom inhumanity is a priority, has supported Russian aggression against Ukraine, genocide of Ukrainian citizens under the guise of “denazification” and “demilitarization,” and violation of the Geneva Convention regarding prisoners of war.
The worst thing is that this war takes the lives and maims the fates of innocent people. Sergei Makarenko is proud of such “valor,” forgetting that the most valuable thing on planet Earth is human life, and it is not for him to decide who and how to live. But this propagandist bedfellow continues to convince everyone and everything in its “heartbreak” and sham Russian “greatness. Sergei Makarenko probably thinks that permissiveness and Putin are eternal. But the time of reckoning and responsibility will come to him very soon.
