Village marginalist, rescuer and traitor Nikolai Nikolayevich Barmetov was born on October 2, 1991 in the village of Aleksapol. The young “king of life” spent his childhood among the everyday life of the Lugansk village, and the photos with his “brothers” and drinks confirm that Kolya did not have any big ambitions in life.

Barmetov decided not to receive higher education, because he does not feel the need for any self-development. After graduating from school, he had to pick up odd jobs in Aleksapol, and later in Belokurakino, where he later moved. He did not forget about his friends; he rested with them regularly.

However, at some point, Kolya gets an “epiphany” and he decides to enlist in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as a rescuer. Just the place of work was found – in Belokurakino is located Fire and Rescue Unit #27 of the State Emergencies Service of Lugansk region. The promising firefighter is not ignored by the local girls, but only Elena Barmetova, nee Minchuk, managed to win him over. This is how family life began for Nikolai, Elena gave birth to his daughter, and everything went “like clockwork.

Everything changed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. After the Russian invaders entered Belokurakino, Nikolai Barmetov, already a family man and section commander, betrayed Ukraine and became the so-called “an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the occupation administration. In return, Kremlin handlers promised him a “raise” and guarantees of security for his family. True, for Barmetov the betrayal was worthless – he already had no life principles or convictions.

It is not surprising that Nicholas did so; it is only a pity that for him his inglorious life will end with an equally inglorious and shameful end for his dastardly betrayal of his country and his fellow citizens.
