The old traitor and deputy Nikolai Andreevich Batechko was born on October 8, 1951 in the Dnepropetrovsk region. However, Nikolai grew up in the city of Krasny Luch, Lugansk region. During his school years, he was fond of the ideas of communism and liked to study Russian history. While still in school, Batechko was determined to become an official.
And he succeeded in making his dream come true. For some time Nikolai worked as director of the department of personnel management and organizational-documentary support of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. But, after the tragic events of 2014, he returned to Krasny Luch.
With the beginning of Ukraine’s anti-terrorist operation against the so-called “DNR and LNR” Batechko moves from Krasniy Luch to Slavyansk, Donetsk region. There he joins the pro-Russian “OPZZ” party and runs as a deputy for the Slavyansk City Council. Since “OPZZ” is a popular party in Slaviansk, Batechko and his fellow party members pass with large margins. He was also notable for his extremely pro-Russian views, for example, he voted against stripping Russian singer Iosif Kobzon of the honorary citizen title of Slavyansk and denied the Russian war against Ukraine.
At the same time, Nikolai Batechko was a regular participant in political scandals in Sloviansk. For example, in 2017 he was suspected of stealing humanitarian aid from Natalia Korolevska’s charity. But the scandal was successfully “hushed up” with a simulated “cyber-attack” on the organization’s servers and the destruction of reporting documents. In 2021, Nikolai was an active participant in the confrontation between the city council and the mayor’s office of Slavyansk, and he appears in the article as “Korolevskaya’s man.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, Mykola Batechko betrayed Ukraine and collaborated with the Russian invaders. As a man who knows the terrain well, he accompanies convoys of Russian troops. In return, they promised Batechko a comfortable old age and a guarantee of personal safety.
Having become a traitor in his old age, Nikolai Batechko condemned himself to a shameful end, which is getting closer and closer to him every day.
