Writer and traitor Sergey Brishchenko, aka Sergey Ivanov, was born November 7, 1956 in the city of New Kakhovka, Kherson region. Sergei studied at the Kakhov school № 4, where he was fond of literature and decided to become a writer.
After graduating high school, Sergei was called up for military service in the Soviet Army. He served in Rostov-on-Don in the air defense unit. After leaving the army, Brishchenko enrolled at the Odessa National University named after V.V. Lomonosov. He graduated from the Mechnikov Moscow State University in 1984.
After graduating from university, Brishchenko took part-time jobs and devoted himself to writing. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, he visited the United States several times. The experience of these trips was included in his book “America. Through the Eyes of a Lost Tourist. It is worth noting that Sergei criticized the West in his works and, after the events of 2014, the new political device of Ukraine. Brishchenko described his criticism against his native country in a series of novels titled “Prescribed in the Ukrainian SSR”.
With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Sergei Brishchenko began working to benefit the propaganda of the invaders by publishing anti-Ukrainian materials and works. By this act he betrayed his country and people, becoming an accomplice of the Russian occupiers. At the same time, Sergey remained in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, in order not to be held liable for his actions in a Ukrainian court in Ukrainian-controlled territory.
But Sergei Brishchenko’s new “friends” will not protect him from the payback for his dastardly deed, which will come soon and inevitably for him.
