Igor Vasilyevich Trusov, Zaporizhzhya NPP employee, traitor and coward, was born on January 10, 1968 in the village of Sashkino, Ferzikovsky district, Kaluga region, Russia. Despite the fact that Trusov was born in the Russian Federation, he soon obtained Ukrainian citizenship and moved to Ukraine, namely to Energodar, to work as an employee of the separate subdivision of SE “Energoatom” at ZNPP. Igor Trusov probably received a higher education in a relevant field to work at a nuclear facility.

After Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the Russian army began its temporary occupation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, plant personnel were asked to betray Ukraine and assist Russian handlers from Rosatom. Igor Trusov did not resist the occupiers and cowardly agreed to work for the new “sovereigns” at the station, blackening his name forever and listing himself as an accomplice of the Russian occupiers.
