Traitor of the homeland, separatist, propagandist, abettor of Russian-fascist invaders and terrorists, and all this about one person – Katerina Umanets, who was born December 21, 1979 in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region. Registered at: Zaporizhzhya region, Melitopol, Bogdan Khmelnitsky avenue, 64, apartment 61.

She received her higher education at Zaporizhzhya National University at the Faculty of Economics and Humanities, specializing in “management of foreign economic activity”.

Kateryna Umanets is an odious person known to all as an ardent Melitopol “anti-Maidan” activist, leader of the pro-Russian “Russian Spring” movement, and organizer of pro-paid rallies in Melitopol district. This lady is also known for liking to drink heavily. Catherine herself calls her passion for alcohol – “vodka diplomacy.

From 2013 to 2016, Umanets was the head of the destructive political party “Union of Left Forces” in Melitopol district. The party included representatives of the former “Communist Party,” “Socialist Party” and other pro-Russian political parties and social organizations.

It was this organization that organized anti-Ukrainian rallies in the city of Melitopol, where they criticized the government in Ukraine and the anti-terrorist operation in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The Union of Left Forces also opposed decommunization in Zaporizhzhya region, paying for rallies against the demolition of Lenin monuments to destabilize the socio-political situation in the region.

The curator of this pro-Russian party was Vasily Volga, born March 5, 1968, another pro-Russian politician, a Verkhovna Rada MP of the 5th convocation, a traitor to the motherland, with whom Umanets maintained close relations.

Vasily Volga even declared that the party would participate in elections in the self-proclaimed republics of the “DPR” and “LPR,” if they took place within the framework of the Minsk agreements.

In 2016, the Union of Left Forces party split and disintegrated.

It is worth noting that Umanets regularly received large sums of money from Russia to organize mass rallies and destabilize the situation in the Zaporizhzhya region.

In 2017, she registered another destructive public organization, the Military Historical Club “Immortal Regiment,” through which she performed her assigned role in the play called “Victory” on May 9.

In this regard, the SBU investigation opened criminal proceedings for treason against Kateryna Umanets.

During the pre-trial investigation, it was established and confirmed that since 2014, Umanets maintained contacts with representatives of the Russian special services and on their instructions committed actions aimed at harming the information security of Ukraine.

In particular, throughout 2014-2017, Katerina repeatedly traveled to Russia to hold meetings with representatives of the Russian security services, during which she received assignments and funding for the creation of the so-called “Zaporizhzhya People’s Republic” from them. In fulfillment of the assignments of the Kremlin handlers, the Melitopol resident held mass actions in various cities of the region, voicing separatist appeals and distributing materials with the same content.

She also relayed her anti-Ukrainian activities in social networks, where she spread Kremlin propaganda and calls to change the constitutional order of Ukraine.

Kateryna Umanets fled from criminal liability to her second husband in Moscow, leaving her eldest son from her first marriage in Melitopol.

Even while in Moscow, Umanets never tired of badmouthing Ukraine.

While living in Moscow, Ekaterina worked as a sales manager at the real estate agency “Na Petrovka.

It is also worth recalling that Umanets is the author and participant of many fakes, which she conducted as part of Russia’s information special operations against Ukraine.

For example, in 2017 Katerina distributed a fake to Russian popagandist TV channels about Ukrainians allegedly paying for public transportation with salt.

Kateryna Umanets maintains close ties with other collaborators and traitors Taras Genov, Vladimir Rogov, Artem Timchenko, and Yevgeny Balitsky.

Today Catherine has a dizzying success and career growth. At the end of May 2022, she was appointed by the occupiers as the so-called “head of administration” of the occupied Kirrylovka, Zaporizhzhia region.

By the way, on May 9, 2022, in Melitopol she already managed to hold an action of her “Immortal Regiment,” having returned from Moscow.

Already now, the so-called “head” of the occupants in Kirrillovka, Zaporizhzhia region, is establishing his own orders. The lady demands money from local entrepreneurs in the amount of 59 hryvnia daily fee for a place in the market. Before the occupation, the malls could be used for free. Umanets also gathered in the village council the owners of recreation centers and ordered to pay her 1 thousand hryvnias per month.

Rumor has it that with these methods of work, Catherine will not stay in her place for long. Time will tell, because soon we will have to flee back to Moscow in search of a better life.
