An accomplice of the Russian occupation troops Melnik Vitaly Mikhailovich was born on October 10, 1982 in the village of Daryevka, Kherson region. For himself, Vitaly decided to follow the crooked path of betrayal.

Before the occupation, Vitaly worked in Darjevka penal colony No. 10.

After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops on February 24, 2022, the collaborator Vitaly made a criminal decision for himself and voluntarily defected to the side of the occupants.

With the beginning of the occupation, he voluntarily cooperated with the occupiers and took a job in a unit of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN). After his dismissal from the DIS in Daryevka, he left for Genichesk together with the ROV, where he continues to work in the Federal Penitentiary Service. As of December 24, 2022, is in the process of setting up a detention facility in the occupied Chongar Air Force building.

After the de-occupation of the Kherson region, Vitaly will go to prison under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for treason against his country.
