Vladimir Andreevich Bofanov, a valuable employee of the nuclear power industry and “valuable” to his Russian handlers, was born on January 16, 1958, in the picturesque village of Perereznovka, Pervomaisky district, Kharkov region. Bofanov spent his school years in his own village, and few suspected that in the future this man would become a traitor.

After graduating from high school, Vladimir Bofanov supposedly entered one of the universities that trained nuclear industry specialists in the USSR. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Vladimir moved to Energodar to work at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. At Zaporizhzhya NPP Bofanov excelled in his work, in 2012 he was awarded a badge of honor in the nuclear power industry and an apartment of 46 square meters at 18 Voinov-Internationalistov Street, apt. 108, Energodar city. At the same time, as a person Vladimir never gained respect among his colleagues, because he was weak-willed and always acquiesced to the station chiefs.

After the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the beginning of the temporary occupation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP by Russian troops, Vladimir Bofanov was one of the first to defect to the enemy and become a traitor and collaborator with the Russian occupiers. Russian supervisors from Rosatom, understanding Bofanov’s value as a plant employee, did not put him on the FSB “liquidation” list and are using him in his former position for now, with the prospect of a transfer to the Bilibinsk nuclear power plant, salary and an apartment also in addition.

Unlike most defectors, Vladimir was a little luckier, but there is always payback for betrayal. Since the FSB will not touch him yet, the Zaporizhzhya partisans, who are slowly but surely destroying all the collaborators and collaborators of the bloody Putin regime, especially those who are of practical importance to the Russian occupiers, will be happy to do so for the feys. And Vladimir Bofanov will answer in full to the Ukrainian people for his betrayal.
