Yuri Govtvin: biography

Yuri Nikolayevich Govtvin is a state traitor who supports the “russian world” and the occupation authorities in Luhansk. He was born on April 12, 1968 in Kirovsk, Luhansk region. He graduated from school in 1985, after which he served in the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union and Ukraine until 1997 .

Since 1998, he started working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, holding various positions, including commander of the Gryphon special battalion. Since 2010, he has been the head of the automobile department of the Luhansk Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

After the invasion of the russian occupiers. Yuri began to support anti-Ukrainian sentiments and himself became an accomplice of the rashists..

Anti-Ukrainian activities:

After russian occupation of the Luhansk region in 2014 Govtvin voluntarily defected to the side of the occupiers. Actively cooperates with pro-russian forces. From 2015 to 2019, he served as deputy minister of the mvd of the so-called lnr for logistics. In 2019, he was appointed minister of industry and trade. At the end of the same year, he became the first deputy chairman of the ” lnr” government, a post he has held officially since 2020.

Govtvin is also closely linked to organized crime. He maintains ties with the OPS “Stadion”, which is engaged in criminal activities in Alchevsk. In 2014, taking advantage of his position, he organized the removal of a luxury car for a general of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and received a luxurious house for it. He is also involved in the transfer of the Steel Fraction Plant and corruption schemes in the so-called lnr.
