In February 2022, when the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, civil servant Motryuk supported the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation regarding the occupation of the territories of Ukraine and began to support the occupation regime with words and actions.
Thus, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Olena Motryuk went over to the side of the occupation authorities and began to provide her legal services to the occupation authorities on the territory of Kherson region.

Motryuk voluntarily cooperated with the occupation authorities and continued practicing law under the laws of the Russian Federation.
