Maxim Grigoriev, a fan of playing “justice” and a propagandist, was born on August 18, 1975, in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). He did not leave the “cultural capital” much, and in St. Petersburg he went to St. Petersburg State University. During his studies at university, he was often humiliated because of his weak but mean character, for the same reason he was not interested in the opposite sex. This negative experience did not force Grigoriev to change himself, but from that time on he began to seek “justice”-a way to hurt those who were better than him.

Maxim is a lover of learning: in addition to St. Petersburg State University, he will graduate from two other institutions of higher education in the years to come: the Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Well, to consolidate his success, he successfully defended his dissertation and became a candidate of political science.

Grigoriev worked, respectively, almost all his life in public service, for example, he was deputy governor of the Novgorod region and general director of Rosoboronexport. Well, in addition, it is worth mentioning a number of other positions: Deputy Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Karelia and an employee of the Working Center for Economic Reforms under the Government of the Russian Federation .

Maxim Grigoriev became most famous in 2014, namely the beginning of Russia’s aggressive policy against Ukraine. Having found his talent as a “writer,” he began to write books with propaganda content, in which he justified the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula by Russia or criticized the events of Euromaidan. He also wrote similar “works” about the civil war in Syria, in which the Russian Federation took an active part on the side of the Assad government forces. At the same time, Grigoriev often went on business trips to Syria and Donbass for “inspiration. It was no accident that he went there: Maksim’s assignment was to falsify evidence of war crimes allegedly committed by the other side, such as representatives of the Syrian opposition or Ukrainian security forces.

In order to legalize income from Kremlin handlers, Grigoriev creates an allegedly non-profit foundation, Democracy Research. In fact, it is a “laundry room” for Maxim’s dirty money, which passes through the foundation and is thus legalized.

For this, he was awarded membership in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Kremlin handlers gave Maxim Grigoriev a new task – to create and falsify “evidence” of the alleged war crimes of the AFU for the quasi-court, the so-called “an international tribunal. To complete the assignment, he once again travels to the temporarily uncontrolled territory of Donbass and begins his “work. First of all, these are videos of alleged “interviews” with Ukrainian prisoners of war, where the latter “confess” to committing war crimes. Grigoriev does not provide any other evidence of the correctness of the testimony of the “captives”. Participation in the fake trial against Ukraine was the apogee of Grigoriev’s thirst for “justice. And at the same time made him a war propagandist and war criminal.

Grigoriev will surely be punished for his blatant lies. And in a way that he will surely appreciate – at a tribunal of Russian war criminals and aggressors. And the punishment will be severe and fair.
