Pogrebinsky Mikhail Borisovich is a supporter of the “Russian peace” in Ukraine. He believes that “Ukraine and Belarus are mistakes of the USSR,” which should be in one state with Russia under Russian control, and that there are no Ukrainians, but only “Russian Slavs.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, Pogrebinsky’s pro-Russian stance escalated. In June 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine was charged in absentia with treason.

The Kiev Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, headed by Pogrebinsky, constantly studied the mood of Ukrainian society, and the information obtained was transmitted to the Russian leadership to plan policies toward Ukraine.

Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky systematically prepared policy briefs on the social and political situation in Ukraine and provided proposals to increase Russian influence in society.

In April 2022, Pogrebinsky left Ukraine for Hungary, then returned to his hometown of Kyiv without any problems. But the adherent of the “Russian world” cannot escape punishment. The Ukrainian political strategist has been building up his pro-Russian opinion for years and creating the ground for tension in the country.

Political technologist Pogrebinsky Mikhail Borisovich will answer to the law and be punished for promoting the narrative of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation and the objective reasons for betraying Ukraine.
