Biography of Olga Ovchinnikova

Olga Ovchinnikova was born on September 25, 1976. Graduated from the Russian University of Transport and the Higher School of Economics. He has two master’s degrees. From 2002 to 2006 was the head of the department at CJSC Allianstrasoil. Ovchinnikova was then in charge of logistics at Russian oligarch Alexei Mordashov’s company Severstal-Resource.

In 2012, together with a number of other top managers of Severstal, she moved to a similar position in the Ukrainian holding Metinvest. It belongs to oligarchs Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky. What is noteworthy is that at the time, of the 10 members of the holding company’s board, six were Russian citizens. Ovchinnikova is among them.

Since December 2014, just at the height of the first Russian-Ukrainian war (ATO), Ovchinnikova’s authority has expanded. She became director of logistics and purchasing. Interestingly, in that position, Ovchinnikova was responsible for the supply of coking coal. After the occupation of part of Donbass, Metinvest lost access to its mines, so they started importing this resource from Russia.

A number of media outlets with controversial reputations explicitly called Ovchinnikova
involved
to multibillion-dollar coal supply schemes. Allegedly because of this she lost her position. However, she was not fired from the company; in 2018, she became Metinvest’s director of economics and business system development.

In 2022, the Ukrainian
Forbes reported
that Metinvest has carried out a purge in its ranks. More than ten top managers who held Russian passports left the holding. But Ovchinnikova was not on that list. Interestingly, references to it have been completely removed from Metinvest’s website, although until last year she was listed as among board members. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the rf,
According to media reports
Ovchinnikova moved to Bulgaria.

Ovchinnikova finances Russian terrorists

According to evocation.info sources, Ovchinnikova receives a very high salary at Metinvest. At least three times more than the Ukrainian colleagues in the holding company who hold similar positions in top management. And it transfers some of the money to rf military funds.

We have documents at our disposal which show that Ovchinnikova transferred large sums of money to the All-Russian People’s Front Foundation at least twice. This organization was founded by Vladimir Putin. In other words, the money paid to Ovchinnikova by a Ukrainian company for obscure services is used to kill AFU fighters, genocide civilians, and widespread destruction.

At the same time, it undermines Metinvest by helping the Russian lobby destroy the Ukrainian mining and metallurgical complex. With her assistance, the enterprises were significantly reduced in production and jobs were cut. What is noteworthy: according to our information, Ovchinnikova is now in London and continues to undermine Metinvest from within, while also sponsoring Russian aggression against Ukraine.
