She studied at school No. 22 and performed at the school theater “Balaganchik” at Children’s School No. 13 in Odessa, did choreography and vocals. In 2007 she graduated with honors and entered the Faculty of Transport Technologies and Systems of Odessa National Maritime University.

She left the Maritime University and went to Kiev to enroll in the Department of Directing and Show Business at Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, which she graduated from in 2013 with a master’s degree in theater arts. In 2021 Regina and her husband Vlad Topalov, after he was discharged from the hospital, decided to move to another country (UK or USA) in the near future to improve Vlad’s career.

Regina Todorenko from Odessa, who lives and builds her career in Russia, chose to keep quiet about the war in Ukraine. She explained her position by saying that she did not want to break up her family with Russian singer Vlad Topalov.

Because of her tacit support for the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she received negative criticism from former colleagues and subscribers. Dasha Astafieva, who went to volunteer in February 2022, criticized Regina. Hostess Ekaterina Osadchaya called for the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship of “stars” who silently support the war. Former partner on the program “Heads and Tails” Nikolai Serga, who joined the VSU, said that the war and her silent position showed the real face of the star.

Despite the fact that Todorenko does not comment in any way on the military actions of Russia and the genocide of the Ukrainian people, her mother, who continues to live in Odessa, supports her daughter in every way possible. The woman publicly congratulated Regina on her birthday and noted that she was welcome in her native Odessa.

Todorenko remained in Russia until the last moment and supported the pro-Putin views of her husband, Russian singer Vlad Topalov. It was only a couple of weeks before she gave birth that she fled the RF to “save the life inside her.”
