Rescuer, family man and traitor – Burkut Sergey Igorevich, born July 1, 1998 in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region. Sergei studied at Secondary School № 5, and after graduating from high school received new knowledge in vocational school № 39.
After graduating from vocational school, Sergei searches for a more or less stable job and joins the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as a firefighter. He served in the 11th Fire and Rescue Unit in Berdyansk. Burkut had a good record in the service, so he was awarded the special rank of “junior sergeant of civil protection. At this time, Sergei began a relationship with his wife Karina, who would later give birth to his son. Sergei’s life was well-established – an honorable job, a beloved wife, and a growing son.
However, Sergei Burkut’s peaceful family life collapses with the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. After the Russian occupation troops enter Berdyansk, Sergey violates his oath and betrays Ukraine by his switch to serve the Russian invaders. The latter appoint him to the position of the so-called “employee of the 11th Fire and Rescue Unit of the occupation administration of the city of Berdyansk. In return, representatives of the Russian Federation guaranteed Sergei and his family’s safety and “greater” monetary compensation “for service.
Having betrayed his country, Sergei has forever become a traitor to the Ukrainian people, for which he will be severely and justly punished.
